This washer needs 2 transmission parts to make it 100% functional. Like all GE’s of this style it has developed a gear grinding noise in wash mode.
If you can swing a socket wrench and spend $150 on parts there are 100 YouTube videos of how to replace the drive gear and shift actuator. Once replaced it will function as new.
Motor and pump are great, control knobs function and sheet metal perfect. Approx. 6 years old, sold by an elderly homeowner.
