Seeking a part-time bookkeeper to become a part of our property management team. We are looking for an independent person who has knowledge of accounting principles and real estate development. It is essential that this candidate bring organizational skills and knowledge of QBooks in order to best support the team.
NOTE: THIS IS A CONSULTANT POSITION UNTIL FURTHER REVIEW
Responsibilities
· Bill and collect rents (residential and commercial)
· Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
· Process accounts payable checks/Ach payments.
· Prepare checks to be sent to vendors
· Record bills and invoices in QuickBooks
· Prepare month-end bank reconciliations
· Organize/update financial records and maintaining documentation
· Other general accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· 3-5 year of accounting experience preferred.
· Bachelor’s or Associate's in Accounting or Finance.
· QuickBooks knowledge is a must.
· Strong mathematical skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· General real estate knowledge strongly preferred
