No screws needed. Just stick them up with the adhesive strip at the top, but I had to add some black duct tape to keep them up as the adhesive strip got old. There are plastic clips included to hold them in any position if you fold them up to let in some light during the day.
There are three of them, each about 36" wide but can be cut to size if you need them smaller. My window was 56" high but there was plenty of extra length available.
They apparently got wet at the bottom at one time so are in fair condition but, hey, the price is right!
