They are not soft. Rubber on both sides!
I purchased a few months ago and have been using them on my balcony to create a grippy non-slip surface. Great to have while my dog recovered from an injury and couldn't walk on a slippery surface. Can be cut down to a smaller size, eg to use in a bath or shower to create non slip surface.
******The rubber is a bit discolored from being in the sun (white-ish color, see pics). They aren't dirty, I just power washed. Also the rubber is non-absorbent.*****
I have 3 of these in total. Take 1,2, or 3! Pick up from the upper West side near 96th St.
