If you are obsessed with the intricate details of Apple or Android smartphones, Gadget Hacks wants you to join our team.
If you research every feature of a new handset before deciding what phone to buy, and if the first thing you do with a new phone is dig into the software and try to make it better, we want to talk to you.
Gadget Hacks (http://gadgethacks.com/) is looking for phone-obsessed writers to expand our team that's dedicated to analyzing and improving the products people buy and use every day -- smartphones.

About Us:
Gadget Hacks (http://gadgethacks.com/) is a fast-growing smartphone news and how-to site offering the latest and greatest news, tips, tricks, guides, and comparisons. As a sister site to WonderHowTo (http://wonderhowto.com/) , the Gadget Hacks brand has been around for years, but since January 2017, we've been evolving as a standalone website. As we continue to upgrade our strategy, we're growing and adding new writers to our roster.
Our aim is to be the best, most thorough, and most honest smartphone guide on the market -- helping people find the best phone for how they use it, and give them all the tools, news, how-tos, and fun mods and hacks to make it unique to them and get it working its best.
Gadget Hacks writers spend their days with their favorite gadget: the smartphone. Our readers look to us for the latest news on both Apple's iPhone and iOS platform, and Google's Android operating system and the latest phones from brands like Samsung, HTC, LG, Nokia, and Motorola.
Our writers need to be able to clearly explain the difference between Lightning and USB Type-C ports to someone who has no idea. Then, dig deeper into how their audio quality differs from a traditional 3.5 mm headphone jack or a Bluetooth audio connection, and how the DAC on the phone influences output in various modes.
We're continually looking for new ways to make phones better at doing our favorite things: Whether it's listening to music and podcasts, watching Netflix and Hulu, or being more productive. That means we spend a lot of time testing out new apps and comparing our old favorites to see which are best and telling our readers about the latest and greatest features and updates.

Responsibilities:
-Keep your finger on the pulse of the smartphone community.
-Research and pitch ideas, write stories promptly, enter their work into our system, and take pictures and screenshots to illustrate the story.
-Write engaging and intelligent tech copy that's clear, understandable, correctly formatted, and grammatically correct.

Requirements:
-Well-versed in the smartphone landscape: Knowledge of brands, operating systems, skins, apps, history.
-A verging-on-obsession love of smartphones and apps.
-Ability to find bugs and reader pain points and solve them. You're likely the person that people come to when they have phone problems.
-Have a bounty of ideas that fit our unique approach, style, and audience.
-Incredible attention to detail and top-notch writing skills, including the ability to self-edit and fact check.
-Ability to take critical feedback and use it to improve.
