I am a PhD (DPhil) candidate at Oxford University working at the intersection of law, philosophy, and politics. I recently finished writing my doctoral dissertation and am now on the academic job market. On the side, I have been editing and proofreading for more than 15 years for all disciplines and subject areas.

Previously, I worked as an editor and proofreader for Oxford University Press and have been an editorial assistant for various academic journals. My proofreading and editing services can be tailored to fit any writer, but I specialize in providing master's degree and PhD editing services. Within the limits of standing rules of academic conduct, I can also provide research and writing assistance (e.g., with proposals and postgraduate applications as well as legal documents).
Please get in touch for more information about me, including my institutional e-mail and webpage, academic (peer-reviewed) publications in law, published acknowledgments of my work, and detailed rates. We may also correspond by Whatsapp, Skype, and / or iMessage and I usually respond within minutes.
A brief summary of the editing and proofreading services I provide:
• Academic editing
• Dissertation and thesis editing (i.e., PhD, master's, and MBA theses)
• Formatting (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago, OSCOLA, etc.)
• Legal and corporate editing
• Research and general editorial assistance
• Assistance with postgraduate applications, CVs, etc. (especially law / medical school applications)
Depending on the needs of the author, the editing / proofreading process can be extremely rigorous. I begin by reading the text as a whole to check for things such as logic, organization, coherence, and cogency. The second round of work is more fine-grained, and I focus on the mechanical elements of language, such as grammar, structure, phrasing, word choice, and flow. My aim, in every case, is to provide an intensive thesis editing and proofreading process.
Thank you for reading and good luck with your writing.
NB: Please note that I cannot write assignments or papers.
