I'm working on a creative, hands-on project and I'm on the hunt for old or non-working electronics—especially those with interesting circuit boards or chips. This is for an art/design project, so none of the items need to function. I'm purely looking for the aesthetic value of the circuit boards and internal components.
What I’m looking for (any condition, working or not):
-Old laptops and desktops (especially broken ones)
-Motherboards, graphics cards, sound cards
-Circuit boards, logic boards, IC chip-heavy boards
-Networking boards (from routers/switches) with lots of chips
-Arcade boards or industrial electronics
Anything with a dense collection of chips or circuitry
Any “junk drawer” tech you don’t need anymore
Condition absolutely does not matter. I'm not looking to resell or repair. I just want cool chips and components to display. If you're a techie, a tinkerer, or just clearing out space, this could be a win-win.
📍 I’m based in Midtown West, but I regularly travel to Midtown East and can meet anywhere in Manhattan. I'm also happy to come to you if it’s a bigger batch outside of Manhatten.
