Seeking participants with Hepatitis B (Upper East Side)

Researchers at The Rockefeller University are conducting a study to help identify new
ways to treat chronic Hepatitis B virus. Hepatitis B (HBV) represents a major global
health burden with over 296 million people infected in the world. As of today, no reliably
curative treatment is available. The goal of this study is to develop new technologies to
predict the efficiency of antiviral drugs and to advance toward a cure of HBV.
You may be eligible if you:
Are between 18-100 years old
Have Hepatitis B and are not receiving treatment
Do not have Hepatitis C or Hepatitis D
Are not HIV positive
Participation includes:
1 Screening phone call
2 clinic visits to sign consent forms, provide medical history, check of vital signs, blood draws.
Compensation is provided.
