commercial interior projects. We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee
commercial interior fit-outs across Manhattan.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with NYC-based general contractors and
managing interior construction projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage commercial interior construction projects
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site activities
Ensure compliance with NYC building codes and safety regulations
Maintain project schedules, quality, and budgets
Conduct site inspections and resolve on-site issues proactively
Lead daily operations, meetings, and reporting
Requirements:
Minimum 6+ years as a Construction Superintendent in NYC
Experience working for General Contractors
Strong background in commercial interior projects (office, retail, tenant fit-outs)
Knowledge of NYC codes, union environment, and site logistics
Ability to layout partitions using drawings, laser, and chalk line
Strong leadership and communication skills
Certifications:
OSHA 62-Hour SST (Required)
