Ability to troubleshoot independently
Requirements
Valid driver's license preferred
Reliable transportation
Basic hand tools
Professional appearance
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Certifications (Preferred but Not Required)
OSHA 40
NYC SST
BICSI
Lift Certifications
Manufacturer certifications (Brivo, Akuvox, Hikvision, Dahua, etc.)
Pay
Starting pay is based on your experience and demonstrated skill level.
Typical starting rates:
Helpers / Entry Level: $17.50–$20.00/hr
Junior Technicians: $21.00–$24.00/hr
Experienced Low Voltage Technicians: $25.00–$30.00+/hr
There are opportunities for raises as you demonstrate proficiency with security cameras, access control, intercom systems, troubleshooting, and commercial low-voltage installations.
