In the end goal, many a tourist will be offered one free photo that I'll email promptly on site—no obligation to pay for anything—while also offered a free photo session with the resultant images to later be curated, edited, and placed in a private "client gallery" online. If a photo session thus ensues, then I'll email a link to the client gallery, afterward, which will bear the images with options to buy them as files, as prints, as photo albums, as photobooks, or as wall art.
In preparation, I want to forge a repertoire of shot compositions and to refine the service. A modeling assistant will be photographed from varied vantage points with multiple lenses, will view an iPad on site to appraise to me some results, and will later record notes to critique to me by interview the experience of perusing and ordering from a client gallery. In her case, an order will be free. Monetary compensation will be trivial—$20 per half day—worth carfare and refreshments.
Incidentally, I'm male, multiracial black, and age 49. Though I haven't really photographed since the late 2010s, shown from then are some examples of my portraiture, natural light only. (The greenish colorcasts in a few would not pertain to new photos, as I'm now studying color management.) For modeling assistants particularly valuable, I may meet requests for free files of flash photography, too, whether in portraiture, headshots, lifestyle, editorial, fashion, product, food, or real estate.
