We are hiring a DJ to bring energy and control the music cues for our Loca Loka Horror Nights events this October in liquor stores across New York and New Jersey.
About the Event:
Loca Loka Horror Nights transforms tequila tastings into live Halloween shows. Each consumer purchase triggers a 30–45 second performance with characters like Freddy Krueger, Ghostface, La Catrina, The Bruja, and Jaguar Spirit. The DJ sets the mood, runs the music cues, and keeps the energy alive throughout the event.
Music Cues for Characters (30–45 seconds each):
Freddy Krueger – Nightmare remix (dark, suspenseful beat)
Ghostface – Scream theme remix
La Catrina – La Llorona fusion (waltz + salsa rhythm)
Jaguar Spirit – Tribal drums remix
The Bruja – Witch chant beat
What We Need:
Ability to manage short, timed music cues for character performances (30–45 seconds each)
Play Halloween remixes and upbeat background music between performances
Professional, punctual, and adaptable in a retail store setting
Bring own small sound system if possible (or confirm compatibility with store setup)
Event Details:
Locations: Liquor stores across NY & NJ
Dates: Fridays & Saturdays in October, plus Thursday Oct 30 and Friday Oct 31 (Halloween finale)
Duration: 3-hour events
Typical times: 3–6 PM, 4–7 PM, 5–8 PM, or 6–9 PM (depending on store)
Halloween finale (Oct 31): 4–7 PM at a store in the Upper West Side
Compensation: $200 per event
