We are looking for a punctual, patient, and reliable Salon Assistant to join our welcoming and upbeat salon environment. The ideal candidate should be passionate about the beauty industry and willing to learn.

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and offer refreshments
- Assist stylists with shampooing, blow-drying, and other tasks
- Clean and maintain the salon to ensure a tidy and comfortable environment
- Keep an inventory of salon supplies and notify management when supplies run low
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- NYS Cosmetology License (or currently enrolled in Cosmetology School)
- Strong communication skills and customer service
- Proficiency in rinsing and shampooing color
- Basic Blowdry skills preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Prior salon experience is a plus, but not required
- Service Industry or Retail experience strongly preferred.
- 3-4 day (one weekend day included) schedule required.
Compensation:
- Start at $16.50 per hour plus tips with opportunity for an increase after 90 days.
- 40% commission on services rendered including glosses, extensions, single processes, etc.
- 3-4 days a week with the opportunity for in-person education with @blondebybritt and work towards becoming a junior Stylist.
- Monthly ongoing education classes.
