Epson Perfection 2400 Photo Scanner complete with film/slide adapter, 6 foot shielded USB cable, and power supply.

I've scanned lots of film and slides and some printed material as well and been very happy with the results.

Still has manufacturer support at https://epson.com/Support/Scanners/Perfection-Series/Epson-Perfection-2400-Photo/s/SPT_B11B152011 with drivers, support files and so on. It might also just work with a modern machine. I originally bought it with Linux compatibility in mind so I don't think it relies on super-proprietary software to use.
