We are a busy and growing immigration law firm dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate the U.S. immigration system with professionalism, compassion, and integrity. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive Personal / Administrative Assistant to support the attorneys and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
The Personal / Administrative Assistant will provide both personal and professional support to the attorneys. This role requires strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills, as well as the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Bilingual fluency in any foreign language is required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage attorney’s calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
• Handle phone calls, emails, and client communications professionally.
• Maintain and organize client files (digital and paper).
• Assist with document preparation, filing, and correspondence.
• Perform general office tasks such as scanning, copying, and mailing.
• Manage office supplies, errands, and occasional personal tasks.
• Support immigration case management by gathering information and tracking deadlines.
• Assist with billing, timekeeping, and basic bookkeeping tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience as an administrative assistant, legal assistant, or office manager preferred (experience in immigration law a plus).
• Bilingual fluency required (please specify which language(s) you speak fluently).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software.
• Professional demeanor, reliability, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong sense of initiative and ability to work independently.
Compensation & Growth:
• Starting salary is $30.00 hourly with a salary increase to $35.00+ hourly after 3 months of satisfactory performance.
