Core Responsibilities:
Access Control & Greeting: Monitor entrances/exits and verify credentials. Act as a "professional welcome" by greeting guests and providing directions.
High-Visibility Deterrence: Use a dignified, suited presence to deter theft and unauthorized access without appearing overly aggressive.
Patrol & Surveillance: Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols to detect suspicious activity or safety hazards.
Conflict De-escalation: Intervene in disputes using verbal techniques to resolve issues professionally and with minimal disruption.
Incident Reporting: Write detailed, accurate reports on daily activities, security breaches, or property damage.
Dress Code: Must own a tailored solid black suit, black button-down shirt, solid black tie, and polished black dress shoes.
Grooming: Impeccable personal hygiene and a "clean-cut" appearance are typically mandatory.
Licensing: A valid New York Security Guard License is required. Must have an F04 fire guard.
Physical Fitness: Ability to stand and patrol for the duration of a shift (often 8+ hours).
Soft Skills: Superior communication, situational awareness, and the ability to remain calm under extreme pressure.
