Best location! Right by Union Square, all the subway lines, grocery stores, laundromats, gyms, bars, etc! Huge room available in a 3 bedroom apartment! 5th floor walk up (you get used to it). Large common area and kitchen space! No laundry in the building.
The bedroom has a big window overlooking a back courtyard and gets amazing light. It's also really quiet. Room is unfurnished but there are hanging racks installed.
I've lived here for 11 years and love it! The super lives in the building next door and the building is well maintained, clean and quiet.
I'm an actress and director, and I work part time at a theatre consultancy company. I am home in the afternoons to rehearse and tape auditions, but outside of that I'm pretty quiet and chill. I cook an average amount and I am clean but not OCD. The other roommate is a very chill guy in his mid 20s who works in tech. His schedule is about 9:30-7:00.
You are ideally out of school, over 22 and have lived with roommates before. Male, female, gay straight I don't care. Just be normal, chill, pay your bills on time. I'd prefer if you have a day job so I can work on auditions on weekday afternoon, or if you're a fellow actor and want to work on auditions together that's great too. No live in boyfriends/girlfriends or long term guests. Also, no smoking allowed.
To move in I need three months rent (first, last and a security that goes to management), for a total of $4500. You'll get the deposit back when you move out assuming everything is left in good condition and you give me 2 months notice of your move out.
I'm the only one on the lease and don't need you to sign anything. I also don't have plans to move because the apartment, location and rent are amazing! Month to month is fine, as well as short term and long term.
Email me with some info about yourself and links to social media so I can see you're not crazy. Then I'll schedule a time to view the room.
