The apartment is a real 2 bedroom (NOT converted). It is a few blocks from the L and the 6 trains and on the M15, M15 SBS and a couple blocks from the M14A and D bus lines.
In the heart of the East Village. It is a great neighborhood and the block itself is convenient to all of the East Village has to offer as well as Manhattan at large. Being right next to the L train puts the heart of Williamsburg just 1 stop away.
The apartment is one block away from 2 laundry mats and four blocks away from several others. We are also 2 1/2 blocks away from a Trader Joes, Whole Foods and a Target. This is the E.V. so a plethora of restaurants, bars, shops and fun are always at your feet.
The room for rent is a typical sized room for the Gramercy/East Village area and has a full sized low lofted bed, dresser, wardrobe and desk. There is a window with a fire escape and a "real" closet.
The rest of the apartment is fully furnished and is really cute. The living room is a great size with two windows, AC, a large couch, big TV, sitting chair with lamp and little dining area. In the kitchen there is a new large fridge, a nice amount of counter space and cabinets. It's really great for cooking and I have lots of cooking essentials that you are welcome to share. Bathroom is nice - sink unit, medicine cabinet and clean tub/shower. Also has a window.
My roommates and I have always made the house a real home and I would like a roommate who also wants a "home". We do not have to be best friends, but it would be nice if we could share the space together, have a conversation and possibly grab a drink from time to time. I also love to cook and will share if you are home.
I keep the house tidy and while it's fine if you're not crazy clean, you must be able to pick up after yourself when it comes to the common spaces. Please be responsible, respectful, sane, and easy going. The room is for one additional roommate sorry no couples. Iām cool if your bf/gf spends the night sometimes, but no live ins.
