We have two bedrooms available in a 4 bedroom/2 bathroom, two story apartment located just steps away from Lincoln Center. It is for a November 1st move-in. The candidates would sign a 1-year lease.
Trains: The closest train is the 1 train at 66th Street, the A,B,C and D trains at Columbus Circle and the 1, 2, 3 trains at 72nd Street. We also have the M57, M11, and M66 bus conveniently located within a block, as well as multiple Citi Bike Stations
The Neighborhood: There are plenty of restaurants, shops and grocery stores nearby including a Whole Foods and Trader Joes, in addition to several movie theaters (including NYC's only true IMAX!), public libraries and The Metropolitan Opera Theater. The apartment is also walking distance from Central Park, Riverside Park South, and Columbus Circle.
The Building: It is an elevator building (we live on the 7th floor) with several laundry rooms, a small gym and a courtyard in the building complex. This building is part of a complex of several buildings with a 24hr doorman in the building adjacent to ours.
The Apartment: It is fully furnished with a couch, dining and seating furniture, 42" TV, and full-sized kitchen with typical appliance setup (including a dishwasher), two bathrooms and a large private roof space just for our apartment.
Room 1: The room is approximately 10.5 x 13 with two south facing windows and is unfurnished.
Room 2: The room is approximately 8 x 10 with a south facing window and is unfurnished.
You would be sharing a bathroom with one other person.
Rent: $1675 (Room 1) or $1575 (Room 2) + Utilities (usually btwn $65-$160 per person) as well as splitting monthly house-hold items (such as toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, etc).
Requirements: Must pass credit and background check through Building Management. Must have documented income of at least 50x your portion of the rent and/or have a guarantor. Security deposit and first month's rent along with an application fee of $150.
About the roommates:
Jen - I'm a working professional in the financial industry, in my 30's that appreciates coming home to a peaceful and clean environment. I work Mon-Fri 9-5 and workout or take classes after work on most nights. I do not go out on the town too often, but enjoy a glass of wine every now and then.
Jack – In my 30’s working in F&B.
About you:
Someone that holds a solid/stable job and does not work from home every day or most days of the week , age 25-40, doesn't bring the party home and is drama & drug-free. Keeps a clean apartment and responsibly pays their bills on time. Enjoys a sense of community (we are friendly with our neighbors and from time-to-time host pretty awesome dinner parties. If not single, doesn't have their significant other sleep over every night of the week.
