MUST BE:
We are looking for charismatic self-starters with proven sales experience and a people person!

Work Holiday Market in NYC for six weeks opens November 13-Dec 24
FULL TIME OR PART-TIME
Responsibilities include:
Welcome customers by greeting them and offering assistance. Make our customers feel INSPIRED!
Many of our customers are repeat customers who collect avalove so it's fun and easy and up to you to make them feel AMAZING inside and out!
That's our goal!
We want to make our little shop a positive, fun place to work and for our customers to visit.
Responsibilities Include:
Build our Client Book for our built-in repeat customers
Advise and inform customers about products, help customers make selections by building confidence, offering style and size suggestions and opinions.
Generate sales and process payments.
Manage, organize and regularly track inventory.
Light admin and errands possible.
Work our email list!!!
Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and be available and willing to work weekends.
Commitment must be through our holiday market season- which runs through Dec 24 and Thanksgiving week- (Thanksgiving is off!)
There are opportunities to join us for pop ups in Philadelphia, Chicago, and Seattle Jan/Feb and we do monthly pop ups in Chelsea Market.
PAY
*Hourly plus commission.
Hourly starts at $18/20 per hour + Commission + Bonus for exceptional sales work.
This is a freelance position.
*This is a great opportunity to earn a lot of $ fast!

avalove is a poet/artist who handprints + flower dyes + embroiders women's ready to wear one poem, one metaphor at a time.
There is room to grow as we do pop ups all over the Northeast so if you like to travel, there are opportunities to do so with the brand.
avalove is an established indie brand with stores in Chelsea Market and pop-ups in the NYC area for almost 20 years.
We do a pop up show circuit in cities like Chicago, Seattle, Baltimore and Philly as well as regular pop ups in NYC and a seasonal store in Woodstock, NY
