We Are currently looking to fill a position for Seasonal Sales associate's and Full Time Manager.
We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of consecutive employment with a previous employer.

Position Description – Retail Associate

The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring every customer has an outstanding shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a well-merchandised store, and handling the operational duties as required by the Store Manager. Li-Lac employees are passionate about chocolate, friendly and enjoy working in a fast paced, team-oriented retail environment. This position reports to the Store Manager.
Specific Responsibilities include:
· Customer Service: Ensure every customer has an outstanding shopping experience
Greet every customer with a smile and build rapport
Ensure every customer receives your full attention’ (i.e. no cell phones, no distractions)
Go the extra mile to ensure each customer has a great shopping experience
· Store Operations: Follow the store operating procedures to ensure operational efficiency
Open and close the store, as required
Receive deliveries, stock shelves, and complete daily inventory forms
Ring up customer transactions; handle special orders, phone orders, hand delivery requests, etc.
Ensure all chocolate meets our freshness standard, or remove from inventory
· Merchandising: Maintain ‘full & abundant’ cases, counter trays, tables and shelves
Ensure stores are fully stocked with clean displays, smartly organized, priced, and well presented
Maintain seasonal ‘appropriateness’, and deploy smart merchandising principles
Maintain cleanliness standards, ensuring shelves, counters, and windows are wiped-down daily, floors are mopped each night and scrubbed weekly, bathrooms are cleaned weekly
· Store Cleanliness: Maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards
Wipe down shelves, counters, windows, and other surfaces; mop floors, remove clutter
Wash trays, keep sink clean, scrub floors, clean bathroom weekly
· Chocolate Knowledge: Become knowledgeable about our products, ingredients, and key selling points
Know our company’s history and tell the ‘Li-Lac ‘ story to customers
Become knowledge about our products and convey the key selling points, ingredients, benefits, etc.
Be familiar with the items on our website, special order items, and special services
· Drive Sales Goals: Maintain the highest level of sales productivity
Work at the customer’s pace, and keep the line moving
Encourage trade-up or add-on purchases, assist with special requests
Provide samples to people passing by the store
Promote delivery and shipping services

Position Description – Store Manager

The Store Manager is responsible for the efficient operation of a Li-Lac Chocolate store, including customer service, its employees, merchandising, and sales results. This position oversees all aspects of the store’s operations and is charged with ensuring the Li-Lac store is a well-run, customer-oriented shop with a culture of friendly service, clean and attractive merchandising, and a go-getter atmosphere. This position reports to the Retail Division Manager and is responsible for a staff of 3-5 sales associates.
Specific Responsibilities include:
· Customer Service: Ensure every customer receives the highest standard of service
Train staff to greet every customer with a smile and build rapport
Ensure every customer receives ‘full attention’ (i.e. no cell phones, no distractions)
Set the example for what ‘great customer service’ looks like
· Store Operations & Inventory Management: Ensure stores are running at peak efficiency
Train staff to be fully proficient in all store operating duties and procedures
Handle all banking and reporting activities and ensure accuracy, completeness, and discretion
Complete daily inventory order forms accurately and fax each night to the factory
Anticipate upcoming inventory needs and provide ample notice so the factory can fill in time
Engage with the factory as needed to discuss any shipment, inventory or quality issues
Be sure all chocolate sold at the stores meet our freshness standards, or remove from inventory
· Merchandising: Maintain ‘full & abundant’ cases, counters, tables and shelves
Ensure stores are fully stocked with clean displays, well organized, priced, and well presented
Maintain seasonally appropriate displays and windows
Maintain cleanliness standards, ensuring shelves, counters, and windows are wiped-down daily, floors are mopped each night and scrubbed weekly, bathrooms are cleaned weekly
· Chocolate Knowledge: Display expert knowledge about our products, ingredients and key selling points
Be a brand ambassador and tell the ‘Li-Lac’ story to customers
Ensure all associates convey key selling points, product benefits, special order items, and special services
· Business & Growth: Drive sales and pursue new business opportunities
Create opportunities to drive additional sales (i.e. outside sampling, special orders, shipping)
Participate in local activities to promote your store: neighborhood outreach, events, community groups, etc.
· Maintain a Motivated & Effective Staff: Keep a keen pulse on employee morale and motivation
Create a fun, positive environment where people want to work and encouraged to go extra mile
Address employee issues regarding lateness, absences, or disruptions promptly and professionally
