I am a 32-year-old; I was born in Europe but I also have an American citizenship.
I have a Master’s in International Relations and Diplomacy. I have a BA in Political Science.
I have traveled to over 30 countries and lived in 14 cities worldwide. Worked 26 jobs in various fields including theatre, opera, digital manuscript scanning, museums, diplomatic institutions, soccer, journalism, and so on.
On a personal level, my true passion in life is writing books. I have written over 25 of them. One of them, a memoir, is relatively famous in Romania, but I want to be known for serious works. Many of my novellas focus on identity, coming of age, you know, the type of existential issues that French and Italian people adore. I'm aware the American market is quite difficult to get into. But I want to try.
I came to New York scarcely four months ago. The reason is to try my hand on getting published. I am aggressively looking up ways to connect with editors, publishers, and agents. I know there's a specific way to go about it, but Lord Almighty, it looks complicated.
