Trained Acting Coach Available:

Hi, my name's Dana. I'm from New York and I attended the prestigious LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts in NYC. I'm currently a working actress with major TV and stage credits, and I was nominated for a New York Innovative Theater Award for Outstanding Solo Performance.

I've trained with some of the best acting teachers and I'm very good with students. I work to create a safe, non-critical environment, helping the actor find his or her own truthfulness and creativity in performance.

Whether it's building your acting skills in general, or preparing for performing arts school auditions, we will work to improve your confidence, overall acting ability, and ability to think on one's feet, which is imperative for an actor to be successful.

If you are looking for a general acting coach for your child (or yourself), or want someone to prep them for admission auditions, please contact me using the craigslist email and we will go from there. References available upon request. I look forward to hearing from you.

"Ever since my first visit with Dana, I knew it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. After just an hour of working with her I saw immediate and vast improvement. The techniques that she has shown me have resonated with me and have given me a brighter perspective on the way I will carry out my way of acting forever. After working with Dana I was so confident, I was able to trust her tremendously, and she really made it all so easy to practice and improve. I was very comfortable and I was able to break out of my shell, and I really owe that all to her. Overall, I got really lucky with a coach like Dana and I couldn't be happier to be attending Fiorello H. LaGuardia School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in September!" - Sophia N.

"When being coached by Dana, she helps me focus, simplify, and connect with the material, and then we're able to take it to the next level together. She's a great listener and she's pretty masterful at helping me define and breakdown any of my acting obstacles. She's joy to work with!" - Lindsay A.

"Wow! When [my son] first started working on these monologues [with Dana] it seemed like he didn't really like doing them. But now, I can tell he loves performing them and he's really excited to act." - Michael N.

"My daughter went to Dana for about 6 weeks to help her prepare for her a performing arts high school audition. Dana took her from the initial steps of helping her choose her monologue to being ready to audition, and was positive, fun, and instructive. Every single session was a good experience - and actually fun. My daughter emerged feeling prepared and at ease, and even excited to audition. When I saw her practice her monologue at her last session with Dana, I was so impressed with how far she had come with Dana's guidance." - Melissa P.
