Commercial Lease Administrator (Midtown)

compensation: Salary - generous and open; 401 (k)

For a privately-held, well-established and extremely successful midtown real estate investment company.

In this role, you will:
*Perform commercial office and retail lease administration duties.
*Maintain tenant records, leases, abstracts, rent rolls, access cards, contact information and databases. * Monitor tenant lease compliance, security deposits, letters of credit, certificates of insurance and stacking plans.
*Track critical lease-related dates for renewals, expirations, rent reviews and options.
*Review and process tenant billing for real estate tax and operating escalations, utility billings, late charges, and review collections.
*Post monthly recurring charges and prepare and generate monthly rent statements for distribution to tenants each month.
*Scan all lease documents and certificates of insurance into Yardi.
*Assist the accounting department with applying cash receipts to tenant accounts.
·Prepare tenant notices, memos and other activities for property managers.
*Deal with tenant inquiries related to leasing and billing questions.
*Prepare invoices for additional services and posts to tenants' account.
*Abstract lease documents and ensure abstracts are updated.
*Assist in preparation of standard form office and retail leases and amendments.

In order to be a viable candidate, you should:
*Have 3 to 5+ years of commercial lease administration experience.
*Have a Bachelor’s degree – Finance, Business, Accounting, Real Estate a plus.
*Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
*Be detail-oriented with strong analytical and computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel a must).
*Have YARDI or similar property management software experience required.
*Ideally have a working knowledge of legal documents, including lease agreements and amendments.
