I'm not sure of the age but I believe this would date from the late '60s to early '80s. With an approximate 17" at the widest inside it would fit many of the Jumbo Gibson models such as the SJ-200 and fancier models, although I believe this was for a Gibson country-western guitar previously.
As you'll see for the pictures, the tolex exterior is quite worn in places, although it's structurally entirely sound. The latches all work, the handle is secure, and the interior is in excellent shape. I've shown detail images of the exposed wood, to save our time, but it truly is a solid great looking vintage piece that is completely functional. These could be restored as well.
If you have one of these valuable historic guitars without an original case, you'll want this to secure it safely and enhance it's value. This baby is pining for its partner!
