I’m offering for sale my beautiful, beloved early 70's Japanese Epiphone (hollow body). It was made at the celebrated Matsumoku factory when Epiphone moved some production to Japan at the time. These Japanese Epiphones are renowned for their quality, and are also known to be a really great value considering the price.
One doesn't often find them in this condition, and I searched for a good long while for it. This one truly plays like a dream. It is in excellent/AAA+ condition, and it was recently set up. The action is perfect, no buzzing, intonation is perfect, and the neck and body are too. The original ups are original, sound warm and mellow, and can jangle, but can also really bark, too. This is really a very useful instrument, great accross all genres, and I've only ever used it in my smoke-free home studio.
(And for those who might “care,” this is the same MIJ Epiphone Robert Smith from The Cure played, one of those Oasis brothers, too—the funnier one, I think.)
It really is awesome, but sadly, I must part with it to fund another needed purchase.
