Sterling Stingray Short Scale Bass
Daphne Blue

I've played quite a few of these in stores and found all rather disappointing except for this one. The body is a nice solid piece of mahogany. Fretwork is perfect. Nice low action and straight neck. I'm only parting with it because I picked up an Ernie Ball version. There's really little difference, to be honest. The finish on the back of the neck has a more premium feel than than the Sterling version. They sound identical to me. This has only a few hours of home play on it. It is mint except for the one ding you see. It currently has Jazz-type knobs but I'll put the original metal dome knobs back on. I did make one improvement. I placed about 1/4" of urethane rubber under the pickup to keep the pickup firmly at the desired height. I have the original shipping carton if you'd like it. It has DR High Beams on it.
