Great sounding and playing bari guitar assembled in the Mutantum lab.
27"-scale import baritone neck is made of torrefied (roasted) maple with a very comfortable C-profile and is mounted on a 1960s vintage Japanese mahogany body from Kawai or Teisco or Guyatone or other Japanese brand.
Tuned a 4th or 5th lower than standard for sounds that cover both bass and treble ranges.
Pickups are Strat-sized humbuckers - punchy and detailed. Volume control for each pickup with a wide range of timbres possible by adjusting the balance. No tone control.
Sounds fantastic with tremolo and reverb for deep twang noir or with distortion for monster downtuned sturm und drang.
Pick guard is hand cut from vintage masonite (not nasty modern MDF) and finished in antique metallic copper for an old Danelectro or Silvertone vibe.
No case or gig bag.
You can try it out through a variety of vintage Fender tube amps in my East Village studio.
