2006 Martin OM35 Lefty Guitar (serial:1140694)

Very rare 2003-2007 original run lefty, total production app. 700
I've seen 3 lefty original OM-35s. This is one of them.
Fantastic playing condition. Currently set up low action for my fingerstyle and jazz playing.
Spanish Cedar (Cedro) neck is as straight as an arrow. In history, Martin used to use Spanish Cedar for their necks until 1920, then switched to Mahogany due to Spanish Cedar shortage.
No wood cracks or finish checking.
25.4" scale length
1 3/4" nut width. 2 1/4" bridge space.
Macassar Ebony (Striped Ebony) fingerboard and bridge
Currently has Ebony bridge pins. Original pins included.
When I purchased it I was told there was a slight center seam separation below the bridge. When I received it I really didn't notice any signs of separation. It must have had been fixed before, I assumed. Just slight lacquer line I could detect under sunlight.
Over the years the lacquer line has been a bit more visible under sunlight. I've been owning this guitar for about 10 years and have never had any issues.
The top is extremely stable. Very flat. No Martin belly.
I've owned some 60's, 70's and 90's lefty Martins. For me this guitar is the best sounding/playing one.
Due to the center seam line, I'm deducting $200 from current market value of this model ($3000-$3200).
Case is upgraded to a hard shell Martin case (#433, list price $270) from a thermoplastic case.
I play an archtop and a classical guitar now. So my loss is your gain!
Local pickup only

Thank you for watching!
