Amp works as it should. I haven't tested the speaker out or headphone out. I replaced the stock speaker with a Warehouse Guitar Speaker G8C, and also had to replace the input jack with an OEM part. Perfect for someone who wants a solid state amp but with the tweed amp aesthetics.... also much lighter than a tube amp. I love it, but I really need the cash and could use the space.

This video should give you an idea of what it's capable of, and yes, I agree with using the gain channel with gain turned all the way down for the clean sound:
