The Alvarez Yairi CY127CE is a classical-electric guitar featuring a solid cedar top, rosewood back and sides, and a mahogany neck with an ebony fretboard. It has a 12-fret neck, 19 frets, and a slotted headstock with a rosewood overlay. The body depth is approximately 3/4 of standard classical with other dimensions closely matching. The Alvarez Natural Response pickup system with volume and tone controls has superb natural amplification and resistant to feedback.
The line was sold from approximately 1990 until 2004, and has become a highly desired item since.
This guitar is from 1998, and is in immaculate condition cosmetically and operationally..
This is the nylon string guitar that Santana has used for both live events and recording.
It has the signature of Kazuo Yairi on the label. Original hard case, all original documentation and unused set of case keys are included.
