I am selling a like new, six month old Stam Audio SA-4000 MK3+ bus compressor. If you're reading this you probably know what it is, but it is a meticulous recreation of the famous SSL Bus Compressor. This is the MK3+, so not only does it include E and G-series emulations, it also includes additional ratios, a MIX knob, as well as the unique "+" features which are the two additional OUTPUT selections, so you can dial in an API style mid-punch sound by using the American mode (using Stam's 2520 op amp) or the British (NEVE) mode, which puts two Carnhill transformers in the path. Or you can run the standard SSL solid state mode. The mix of flavors available from this box is stunning. I am selling because I am transitioning out of mix/production work. Also, I bought this unit just before the tariffs kicked in, so I can pass that savings on to you. All US purchases from Stam now include a tariff fee, plus the hefty international shipping. Would love to sell locally. If not, next stop will be Reverb.com where you would pay sales tax. Price is way lower than you will find anywhere else for this box, and it is firm.
