Splendid Spoon is a wellness brand built on the idea that a few small changes make a big impact on your health.

The Community Manager will be the voice of Splendid Spoon to current and future customers, creating a positive brand experience across all stages as well as sourcing content for outreach on alternate channels and providing insight into trends based on community posts and user feedback.


  • Oversee social media account comments and direct messages, communicating with followers and responding to inquiries in a timely manner (within 12 hours).
  • Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
  • Monitor customer reviews on all social media platforms, escalating comments as necessary to the appropriate team members.
  • Monitor Splendid Spoon hashtags on Instagram to interact with people who are organically engaging with our content.
  • Develop the Splendid Spoon Pinterest page, creating and/or re-pinning content against strategic opportunities.
  • Participate in real-time trends and relevant brand conversations with our social community, asking questions to develop a bustling community, and engaging with customer, influencer, or ambassador posts in a personalized and authentic manner.
  • Assist with generating social reports, synthesizing data into actionable insights.
  • Assist with brainstorming ideas for our social calendar and marketing campaigns.
  • Create a living internal FAQ document for frequently asked questions.
  • Ensure our brand voice is consistent across all social platforms, utilizing a brand style guide to determine the tone for the brand.
  • Assist customers through our communication platform, ZenDesk.


  • 1-2 years of social media or customer service experience. Experience with a food / wellness brand is a Splendid plus!
  • High standard of interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of best practices for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest).
  • Have a track record of speed, efficiency, and creativity.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • ZenDesk experience preferred.
