This is a temporary position with opportunities for future employment.
Responsibilities:
- Educate and engage community members on important social issues
- Canvassing
- Recruit and train volunteers to support community initiatives
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support organizational goals
- Collaborate with local organizations, businesses, and residents to build partnerships and coalitions
- Conduct research and analysis to identify community needs and develop targeted programs
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Experience in community organizing, advocacy, or related field is preferred
