Born and raised in Germany, Astrid has taught German to from beginners to advanced students in the last few decades at the Berlitz School in New York. Among her students are world renowned artists, musicians, children, opera stars, businessmen, and anyone who has the passion and interest in learning the German language, from children to seniors. Having worked as a respected teacher in one of the world's premier language schools (where she received numerous honors and awards, and was named dozens of time to be "teacher of the year"), Ms.Buob-Spector is able to increase her work with private students as well as online teaching. She is incredibly, kind, generous, skillful, and patient with her students, not to mention a unique way of teaching that immerse your mind into "thinking in German" from day one. She is unequivocally beloved by every one of her former and present students-among them children, many of whom became lifelong friends.
