🧡 Some kids are capable, curious, and thoughtful, but school doesn’t always give them space to explore that. If your child is bored, disengaged, or learns best by doing, this kind of after-school learning may be a good fit.
I work with kids ages 2.5–10, to build things, ask questions, read a wide range of picture and chapter books, and turn their interests into hands-on projects tailored to their ages. Sessions can be in English, Mandarin, or bilingual, depending on the child and family’s goals.
We often spend a few days on one idea. Kids design and build projects such as creating their own card games or curating small art exhibitions at home, developing ideas from start to finish. We also visit museums and focus on problem-solving through real experiences. Kids create their own learning materials and build confidence and agency through doing, not worksheets.
This is for families looking for something more intentional than tutoring or childcare, and more engaging than extra homework, for after-school or homeschool learning.
I have 8+ years of experience in early childhood education, with academic training in sociology (US) and child development (UCL).
