Profile and Background
I’m a 34-year-old French teacher from Paris, now based in NYC. I am formally trained to teach French to non-speakers and have 13 years of experience teaching students of all ages and backgrounds. Teaching French for me is a hobby, and I am always happy to help new students become fluent and develop the confidence in speaking French comfortably.
Introductory Session
I offer a free 20-minute introductory session where I assess your French level, explain the lesson structure, and set goals and expectations. You are not required to sign up for a class after the introductory session.
To book an introductory Free Session:
Please email me two different time availabilities (Eastern Time), and I will get back to you with a confirmation and an invitation link.
Previous Experience
I’ve taught at EWHA University in Asia, Columbia University, and institutions like FIAF, Coucou, and Alliance Française. My passion for teaching French grew after moving to the U.S., where I witnessed the real progress of my students through one on one lessons.
Lesson Structure
Over the years, I’ve developed my own methods and curricula, focusing on practical communication rather than rigid academic structures. I now work independently to provide fully customized lessons tailored to each student’s needs
We will be working using Google shared docs: one for lessons and another for practice.
Payment thought a business PayPal account (You don't need an account to make the payment) - You pay after the lesson, not before.
Formal vs. Casual French
I do not teach formal French because it’s boring. I teach casual French - the way we actually speak in daily life. No one says "Comment allez-vous?" - we just say "Ça va?" No one says "Plaisir de vous rencontrer," - we just say "Enchanté."
I’m here to help you speak real French and build confidence when talking to natives.
