I prefer to work with students at least twice a week (in-home or at a local coffee shop) for 90 minutes ($100), or 60 minutes ($75).
The first consultation is free.
I help high school and college students develop a consistent practice of writing that includes researching, active reading, note-taking, free-writing, brainstorming, outlining, drafting, revising, citing sources, proofreading, and presenting.
I specialize in admissions essays, English papers, longer research papers in the Humanities and Social Sciences, and ESL challenges.
I can help students bridge the gap between progressive schools (and homeschooling collectives) to comparatively mainstream universities without compromising their unique academic goals.
My first goal is harm-reduction: to break the cycle of crisis-based writing and replace it with a process that really works.
