I'm opening up a new day in my studio so looking for some new students to fill in.
If you're interested in learning about synthesizers, sound design, making beats, using drum machines, sequencers, MIDI etc you've come to the right place :)
I've been teaching for over 15 years. Graduated Oblerin Conservatory in 2006 with a degree in performance (guitar) from the Jazz Studies department. If you feel you might also benefit from a better understanding of music theory, ear training, rhythmic theory, or anything else on the more technical/theoretical side of things, we can work from that angle as well. Composition, arrangement, workflow, songwriting, transposing to suit your voice, vocal technique/sound are a few more subjects I work on with many students.
I teach using both software and hardware (because it's more immediate and intuitive, much better to learn certain concepts), however you can apply the same ideas you'll be learning into your production workflow within your DAW. You can even bring your laptop to lessons and we can talk about how the concepts translate from hardware to software.
I'm currently running Ableton Live 11, and Logic X Pro - glad to teach these or to help you with any other DAW that you are running on your laptop.
