I started training in Physical Education in Hungary at age 7 (really!), then started boxing at 13, and moved on to Olympic weightlifting at 22. I graduated from the University of Physical Education in Budapest, and have been fortunate to have trained under many world-class coaches in a variety of fields.
I’m not a therapist, a chatty Cathy, or a best friend, but I am a very, very good personal trainer. I’m serious about my work and I’m looking for clients who are committed to working seriously. If you commit to working with me, you WILL see results. It’s not magic, it’s science, and I’ve been studying this science most of my life.
I offer the following specialized “tracks” to my personal training clients:
 FITNESS – This breaks down into a variety of sub-tracks, depending on your particular interest:
* muscle gain
* weight loss
* cardiovascular improvement
* aging with ever-increasing power and flexibility
 BOXING – Again, two different sub-tracks:
Fitness Boxing – to increase your cardiovascular capability, strength/power, speed and agility.
Training to Fight – includes all of the above, but with much more emphasis on strategy, tactics and sparring (i.e., actually hitting and getting hit).
 REHABILITATION FROM ACCIDENT OR OTHER TRAUMA – I have considerable experience working with clients with various rehabilitational needs. If interested, email me with your situation and I will get back to you with details.
EVERY ONE OF YOUR WORKOUTS WILL BE CUSTOMIZED TO YOU – none of my workouts are “off the shelf.” Furthermore, I’ll be there with you every minute of the workout—when I’m with a client, I’m with you, not my phone. You will have my undivided attention (and I hope I’ll have yours).
LOCATION: I come to you, which means you must have either a fitness studio or studio-like area in your home, or a gym in your building. (I have liability insurance that covers training in building gyms.) I don’t need a ton of equipment to create a really effective workout, but a little bit definitely helps.
If you are interested in boxing, we can also train in city parks, as all the necessary equipment is portable.
COMMITMENT: As you’ve probably gathered, training with me is serious business; I take it seriously and I expect my clients to do so as well. Consequently, I only work with clients who can commit to a minimum of 3 sessions per week. (Several of my clients do 5 sessions per week.) I customize all training plans so that you will never be too sore or too exhausted to work out the next day (except for Fridays!).
All sessions are Monday through Friday—we both get weekends off.
PRICE: I charge $80 an hour, period. No barter or volume discounts, sorry. The first “getting to know each other session” is $50, but if we choose to work with each other thereafter, all future sessions are $80, payable at the start of each month, either by cash, check or Paypal. Unused sessions (i.e., cancellations) can be rolled over to the following month. You can cancel/reschedule up to 24 hours before a session, but after that you will be charged the full session fee. I’m sure your time is valuable; so is mine.
I’m very aware that there are many trainers who charge less than $80/hour. I don’t.
REFERRALS: If you are genuinely interested but still wary, I can connect you with current clients for a confidential one-on-one referral. (My clients are not compensated in any way for this.)
