Offered here is a wonderful vintage Zuni fetish necklace. Multi-colored stones, coral and shell, carved into a charming array of animals including birds, dogs, bears, turtles, rabbits, and possibly a beaver are strung between Santo Domingo hand made Olive Shell heist and small amorphous beads of coral and turquoise. Each animal has eyes created from tiny stones of contrasting color. The perfectly restrained spacing of the fetishes and the thoughtful combination of color creates an unusually graceful and elegant piece. The necklace is continuous around the neck with a finely finished squaw wrap. Length of the necklace is 34 inches, or 17 inches from back of neck to bottom of necklace as worn.
