For Sale: Seiko H558-5009 "Arnie"a collector favorite. Price lowered for soft pusher button.
Unpolished case with normal wear commensurate with age. Original bezel + insert which rotates smoothly with clicks as designed. Crown screws down properly. Original shroud has light scratches, but no cracks. Original crystal has one short light scratch visible from some angles.

Watch Functions have been tested: dual time, stop watch, month + date, and analog time is accurate within a minute over several weeks (I haven't tried to accurately gauge it). Everything set to EST and date.
Alarm is quiet (as from new); LCD light is very dim. These were never the strong suit of this model.
Stopwatch button works, but touchy and needs a firm hand to activate. This is something you will likely want to get fixed - I don't know if it's internal; cleaning or if some of the pusher parts need to be replaced - servicing would replace gaskets etc which would be recommended before diving with this 35+yo watch.

Dial + hands have original lume. I'm the original owner from the late 1980's and can vouch to movement and parts all being original.. I replaced my original Seiko Willard I bought age 15 with this... regrets! Hope I don't regret this sale as much. I haven't worn this watch, and been in drawer for the last 20 years (got a fancy citizen and 2 apple watches). Jeweler installed new battery and cleaned about 2 months ago. Black Nato strap worn about a week.
Watch is sold in "As-Is" condition due to it being a Vintage Watch. $625

The Seiko H558-5000 "Arnie" was used by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movies:
Commando (1985), Raw Deal (1986), Running Man (1987), Predator (1987)

It's also been known as the Eiffel Seiko, as it was also one of many Seiko models issued to
Roger Moore by Seiko UK to be used in the 1985 James Bond movie "A View To A Kill". The H558-5000 was worn by Roger Moore in the famous Eiffel tower Grace Jones stair chase scene  at the start of "A View To A Kill"
