Offered here is a finely carved high relief Victorian hardstone onyx cameo set in a restrained but beautifully wrought 14 karat gold frame. A loop from which to hang a watch remains at the lower pole of the frame. The profile is created in high relief. The brooch was created circa 1880. Height 1 5/8", width 1 1/4".
