Before the use of Cubic Zirconia (1970's) and Moissanite (1990's) to simulate Diamonds, fine "Leaded Glass" was used to simulate Diamonds in Fine Jewelry. Manufactured in France & with some imported by H.S Imports (operated from late 1800's to early 1930's) in NYC. The carat weight between 2.0-2.5Cts. is ideally sized, making it a versatile choice for various settings. With a Flawless Clarity & Colorless grade, this Diamond sparkles with pure Colorless & Flawless brilliance.
Hand cut before electricity, each individual piece is a work of art in itself (see pictures).
From a New York City Jewelers Estate stock that date from the late 1700's to Mid 1920's. Pictures of lot in listing pictures can further provenance (Jewelers address, French markings & H.S.
