Detailed vintage Indian Dhokra tribal art hanging lantern composed of hand-worked metal with a brass finish. Triangular in shape with an ornate stylized dome and a large ring on top for hanging/displaying. Could be used indoors or outdoors. This lantern has 6 panels that depict various images of animals and human figures. It has a wonderful folk-art feel about it. A definite eye-catcher, especially with a lit candle inside. One figure missing head (see photo). Measures 12" high (16.5" with ring extended) and 5" per side.
