The set includes a lid for the Dutch Oven/Casserole and Frypan, and lids for each of the two saucepans adding to its functionality and charm for collectors of vintage cookware. The cookware is made with a surface coating of enamel making it suitable for use on electric and gas stoves. The Dutch Oven/Casserole has a capacity of 4 quarts. This beautiful cookware embodies the high standards of European cookware, offering both style and reliability in the kitchen.
ASTA enameled cookware was made by the Fissler Company of Germany, who manufactured ASTA from 1851 until the 1980's. ASTA's pots and pans are comprised of steel bodies covered with two coats of porcelain enamel which were then fired.
