Weβre hiring a Facilities Management Dispatcher to serve as the communication hub for Facilities Operations. This role manages emergency calls, dispatches work orders, and provides high-level customer service to support a busy Plant Operations department.
β¨ Requirements β MUST Have Matching Experience
Experience handling high-volume emergency or facilities phone lines
Background in work order systems, maintenance coordination, or facilities operations
Strong customer service experience, including managing urgent, escalated, or irate callers
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, email, intranet paging, and standard office equipment
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and communicate effectively under pressure
π Key Responsibilities
Emergency Dispatch & Customer Service
Cover the Facilities emergency phone line during day/evening/weekend shifts
Serve as the second point of contact for all emergencies across the campus
Assess issues and accurately input work orders (location, emergency type, requester info)
Prioritize and dispatch requests to the appropriate trades
Maintain professional communication throughout the request lifecycle
Verify completed work and properly close out orders
Administrative & Communication Support
Greet visitors and handle all incoming calls for Plant Operations
Take accurate, detailed messages and relay them to appropriate staff
Support management in resolving completed work requests
Professional Development & Work Environment
Maintain strong communication and writing skills
Attend meetings and training as required
Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional
