The top of this rustic table has some normal wear for its age. You can enhance it with a light sanding, and easy-to-do varnish.

Here's some information about Old Hickory. It was founded in1899. Old Hickory Furniture Company is one of America's oldest and largest rustic furniture manufacturer. The Big Country End Table, is constructed of hickory sapling legs and spokes, with mortise and tenon joints for increased strength. The tabletops are veneered pine with hickory bark trim. Very durability, hickory saplings are molded and paired to create heirloom pieces that will stand up to years of enjoyment. Not only is hickory dense and durable, but also it is naturally renewable, with saplings re-sprouting from stumps.

All the hickory logs used are kiln dried first down to a specific moisture content. This drying process is done to ensure the best quality possible. An eco-friendly clear finish is added to the nightstand for extra durability and color depth.
