the Formica laminated topper is from another desk, where the base was too far gone...
the legs belong to this topper
put together they form a great looking MCM Desk unit
but may not work for everyone.... at the same time, may work great for you!
the topper is deeper than the base.... so if you have the topper up against the wall... and the base flush w the front of the topper.... there is dead space behind the base.... (which is a great hiding spot) place someone would not look to hide a safe/or personal property you don't want uninvited guests to find. -see pics
(i can also trim the back of the topper so that they are the same depth)
