ca early 1950s, this is a gorgeous pair of lounge/armchairs. The sculptural design form of the open arm bleached oak (too heavy for Beech but possible maple) frame is offset by the impeccable, channel corded, wool silk blend woven ivory upholstery .
These solidly early 50s seating elements were fully restored, rebuilt and reupholstered to a luxury quality standard of design and detail. There is no damages or detraction to the gorgeous upholstery and only minor, cosmetic superficial scratches to wood, as shown. Clean and sound, the condition is v good/excellent.
Priced here to attract interior/set designers, architects and dealers, these are a phenomenal and elegant pair of high-design, quality seating-resonant of later Art Deco/ Machine Age in form, style & heft.. There are no burnstamps or labels retained. These are a rare, fine dynamite pair.
